• Content you provide: Job descriptions, resume text, and other inputs you enter into our tools. This content is processed by our AI to generate your documents and is stored so you can access your document history.
• Payment information: If you purchase credits, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or payment details — only a Stripe customer ID to link your account to your purchase.
• Email address: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address to send you job search tips. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the ApplyAI service
• To process your AI document generation requests
• To track your credit balance and usage limits
• To send transactional emails (e.g. purchase confirmation)
• To send our newsletter if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• To improve our AI tools and overall product quality

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your resume content or job descriptions for advertising targeting.

• OpenAI / AI providers — your document generation inputs are sent to AI APIs to produce outputs. These providers have their own data retention policies.
• Manus — our hosting and infrastructure provider.

We retain your account data and document history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics (if enabled) use privacy-friendly, cookie-free tracking that does not identify individual users.
